Here is a log home that was involved in a real estate transaction and the seller covered up the rotted corners and didn’t disclose it to the buyer. We went out and discovered the rot, 1 of 3 areas. The home was inspected by a stick frame inspector and these rotted areas were not found. Hopefully everyone involved can come to an agreement through mediation on solving this issue or it will end up in litigation and could take years to resolve.
